St Audries Park Wedding – Clare & Richard

Had a fantastic time at St Audries Park for Clare & Richard’s wedding. The day was glorious with lots of sunshine and plenty of warmth from the sun and the people. It’s the first time I have captured a wedding at St Audries and it was a real treat.

So it was pretty hectic when I arrived for the getting ready shots with Clare. There were some mad moments as the party got ready but also some rather calm quite moments too. Which was nice! A little later I joined up with Richard, his twin brother and best-man George, along with his two older brothers down at the bar which was all pretty relaxed. A little later I was back with the girls for the finishing touches before Clare headed up to the estate church in a horse and carriage. I had to run for the car and drive at full speed to get ahead, although I did manage to stop quickly and grab a shot of the carriage as it headed across the estate.

The church was absolutely packed to the rafters. I had to tussle and wrestle with three videographers for space. At one stage I had one on the floor in a headlock while I clicked away with my free hand!! That’s not true I made that bit up! The bride walked down the aisle to some beautiful singing by one of the guests. It was one of those tingling moments when you actually realised it was someone singing and not a recording. It was a WOW moment! The ceremony was lovely with a vicar who really looked the part. He was very vicar/reverend like! He also gave some sound advice. A nice fellow! After the ceremony all guests headed back down to the stately home while the couple were treated to a tour of the estate park in the horse & carriage.

The party congregated in the hall while two of the bridesmaids sang to the guests, a little later they were joined by Clare. It was all very impressive. After the wedding breakfast and speeches were done, the cake cut and the first dance finished the guests danced away the evening. There were some very interesting moves going on. It was all good fun. A lovely crowd that made me feel very welcome. It was a pleasure to capture the day. Please scroll down or watch the slideshow. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
