What an absolutely incredible year 2017 has been. Here we are at the end! I feel so luck to be able to offer wedding photographer across the Southwest. I have been sitting here at my desk over the last few days browsing through a vast number of images for this best of post. Thankfully I have been kept refreshed with a few glasses of mulled wine and mince pies. Well 2017 has been very busy and passed by very quickly with my last wedding taking place on the 21st of December. I have been lucky enough to travel the Southwest and meet and work with some wonderful people over the year. There has been lots of fun & laughter and always a few happy tears. I love to look back on the year and reflect. It’s always a pleasure and I get so much enjoyment from looking at the images. They always take me straight back to the moment!
There are a few that make me laugh out loud and many that make me go ahhhh! Dare I say there are also a few that bring a tear to my eye as I remember that emotional moment, but that’s what it’s all about and I love it!
It has been fantastic to return to venues and visit new ones. Which is why I like my job so much! You get to visit new places as well as renew acquaintances. I am so looking forward to 2018.
It has been really nice to have my work published in the Bride 2018 magazine and on some online wedding blogs too. It has also been really great to have become a finalist for the 2018 South West Wedding Awards. I will find out if I am a winner in late January.
