Pynes House in Exeter is a beautiful Devon wedding venue. I feel so lucky at times to be a wedding photographer in Devon. It was lovely that Laura & Brian asked me to be their wedding photographer at this gorgeous location. Laura had grown up in the family home on the edge of the estate so holding their wedding at Pynes House was a bit of a dream. It was a cloudy day with a little rain but not enough to spoil the spirits.
Brian walked down the long drive with his groomsmen and little Harry the ring bearer, all very cute, to the venue. Brian met and greeted the guests as they arrived and showed them through to the ceremony room. Laura was upstairs with her bridesmaids looking ready but a little nervous. I always enjoy this part of the day as there is so much nervous energy floating about. When it was time to go Laura’s dad came to collect the bride and proudly walked her down the stairs to the awaiting groom. The ceremony was lovely and it was great to see ring – bearer Harry do such a sterling job. After the ceremony the guests chilled out in the gardens with drinks and nibbles before the sudden downpour drove us indoors. What a beautiful day.
I had a great time and it was lovely to meet you. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day.
Talk to you soon.
