Northcote Manor Wedding in North Devon – Nicola & Mervyn
It’s such a treat to be sharing Nicola & Mervyn’s wedding celebrations at the lovely Northcote Manor Hotel in North Devon. Another bonus is that as a North Devon wedding photographer Northcote is only about 30 minutes from home, which is great!

Wedding Photography at Northcote Manor
It seemed to take a long time for their wedding to come round, but there I was with Mervyn on the morning of his wedding capturing a few shots at his parent’s-in-law to-be home in Barnstaple. After capturing a few shots with Mervyn I headed over to Nicola’s sister’s home, also in Barnstaple. It was very busy when I arrived, lots of laughter and only a few nerves. The ceremony took place at Barnstaple’s Methodist Church and to say it was packed is an understatement. There was no seat left empty, believe me I checked as it was a long ceremony. It’s always nice to see the couple’s family & friends coming together to celebrate their day.
After the ceremony we headed over to Northcote Manor for the rest of the celebrations. On arrival we managed to get a few couple shots while waiting for the rest of the party to arrive. Once the guests had arrived and we had almost completed all of the group-shots the couple sat down for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were a great laugh, it was great to hear some of the stories and capture all of the laughter.
It was not long before the first dance rocked up! After the first dance the floor was packed and it was great to capture some of the fun.
It was a fab day and it was great to meet so many lovely people.
