North Devon Coastal Wedding – Hollie & Jordan
I was so looking forward to this North Devon coastal wedding. What can I say about these guys! It was a pleasure to capture their wedding from start to finish. I’m sitting here trying to remember if they had to reschedule because of Covid but I don’t think they did. I think they booked well in advance and were lucky.
I met up with Hollie & Jordan at first in Westward Ho! for a prewedding shoot. We were having exceptionally hot weather and North Devon was glowing. At some point I will post a few images from their prewedding shoot but for now this page is all about their wedding at Sandy Cove.
Sandy Cove is a venue situated on the North Devon Coast and has an impressive view point looking towards Hangmans Cliff. The most popular ceremony location is next to the gazebo with the impressive view.
Sandy Cove Wedding
Hollie & Jordan were both getting ready in the onsite hotel, which makes it easy when capturing this part of the day. The couple and all their friends were such a laugh and kept us entertained throughout. Everyone was smiling and laughing. Once Hollie was ready she was driven, with her dad, in the little buggy down to the Venue and the walk down to the ceremony. These guys smashed it out of the park. It was an amazing ceremony with plenty of laughter. I think I also saw a tear or two.
What I like about Sandy Cove is the long path from the gazebo. It is perfect for the confetti shot and when you have a big group, it can just go on and on and on! As I have already said, Sandy Cove is pretty amazing. But just around the corner is Combe Martin cove which if timed right can be perfect for a little bit of time out for couple shots. At the right time of the year and if you’re lucky you can capture a few sunset pictures down on the beach. Either way the sky can be pretty amazing.
It was a fantastic and very enjoyable day. I loved every moment! Hollie & Jordan were such a laugh. I actually felt like I had known these guys for years!
