Wedding at Muddifords Court in Devon – Holly & Khalid
Great to be wedding photographer for Holly & Khalid’s beautiful Devon wedding at the lovely Muddifords Court just outside Tiverton in Devon. Muddifords Court is a gorgeous rustic barn venue. I really love capturing weddings here and look forward to returning. If you like the idea of luxury with a good mixture of rustic thrown in Muddifords Court could be perfect.
Getting married at Muddifords Court
Holly & Khalids wedding ceremony was held in the lovely Cider Barn, which was well packed with smiling guests. The Cider Press barn can hold up to 140 people which is a lot of guests. The original apple press is still in place which really helps give atmosphere and authenticity. The ceremony was lovely, and they always are. I find them emotional and I can relate especially when there’s an emotional father. Holly was walked down the aisle by her very proud father. It was very emotional for him, as it is for any father walking their daughter down the aisle. During the ceremony there was lots of laughter and some tears as the couple were married in front of family and friends. After the vows the newlyweds and guests relaxed with pimms under the marquee and court-yard.
Muddifords Court Wedding Venue
The weather was kind and the sun even popped out from the clouds giving a nice autumnal glow. After a few group-shots we headed of in the grounds for some couple-shots. There are some lovely areas within the venue. Muddifords Court has a long drive which is absolutely perfect for the couple when doing portraits. The duck pond is also a favourite.
The wedding breakfast was held in The Shippen building at the rear of the property with the speeches getting lots of laughter. It was great to see the best-man role filled by a best-woman, always nice to see something different. After the wedding breakfast the couple, along with their guests, chilled out before cutting the cake and having the first dance. It was really great to photograph this Devon wedding. Holly & Khalid are such a relaxed couple. Thanks very much for the food and for making me feel so welcome. It was great to meet you all.
