Kilver Court Wedding – Jono & Beth

Had a great time as wedding photographer for  Jono & Beth’s Kilver Court wedding in Somerset.  We started off  with meeting up with Jono & his groomsmen for some getting ready shots before heading off to see the Bride.  Beth was getting ready at her Mums, just round the corner from Beth & Jono’s home, with her bridesmaids. I could feel the nerves beginning to mount as we drew closer to the ceremony time.  For the ceremony we headed to Wells, Town Hall, very close to the Cathedral. It was very busy when I arrived and got a little lost when trying to locate the building. Thankfully my second, Ruth had it all in hand.

The ceremony was lovely and was absolutely packed with guests.  After the ceremony was over we all headed over to Kilver Court just a few miles away. Kilver Court is an unusual venue with amazing gardens, and it has it’s own viaduct as a backdrop.  The guests were treated to a fine selection of real ales and craft beers while they snacked on canapés. Once the rain eased and we were able to get outside for some couple shots in the beautiful gardens.

Jono and Beth had spent a lot of time decorating the wedding breakfast room. It looked absolutely fantastic! Once all the guests were seated and had eaten, the speeches started with the father of the bride, Jono and the two best-men.  The speeches went down really well with plenty of laughter and emotion. After the speeches and to get the party started the couple opted to share a shot of alcohol with the guests rather than the traditional cutting of the cake! I love it when couples do away with tradition. We really enjoyed capturing all the dancing shots. I just love to get on the dance floor and capture the guests

It was a real pleasure to be part of Beth & Jono’s day, they are a lovely couple with a great set of friends and a lovely family.  Thank you for making us feel so welcome. I hope you had a great honeymoon.
