Homewood Bath Wedding – Laura & Ben
Although a wedding photographer from Devon I get to travel to all over the Southwest. Sometimes the weddings are very close to home other times not so. It was quite a journey for Laura and Ben’s wedding at the lovely Homewood in Bath, but it was well the visit. I started the day by meeting up with Laura getting ready with her bridesmaids as well as her mum and daughter Daisy. There was a lot of excitement in the air as the ceremony time approached. All the girls looked gorgeous with Daisy looking very cute in her fairy wings.

I met up with Ben just before the ceremony started. He was very chilled and did not look at all nervous. Laura walked down the aisle, preceded by her bridesmaids, with a proud looking father and a very tired Daisy. The ceremony was lovely and was quickly over, and the guests moved out on to the lawn for drinks under a beautiful sky. We took the opportunity to do a few couple shots out in the lovely grounds of the venue. The weather was beautiful with blue skies and lots of bright sunshine.
It was soon time for the wedding breakfast. The speeches went really well and like all good weddings had lots of laughter and a few tears. The afternoon moved on and the guests relaxed in the grounds playing lawn games and enjoying a few too many drinks. It was soon time for the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance. I had a lovely time capturing the day. Thank you both for the lovely food and making me feel welcome.
