Holbrook Manor Wedding – Greg & Danielle

This was my first visit to Holbrook Manor wedding venue in Somerset. As a photographer I am quite lucky as I travel to many beautiful locations in the Southwest. For Danielle & Greg’s wedding it was perhaps the hottest conditions I have ever worked under. It was so hot! Thankfully I had my handy sandals to help keep me cool. Sadly not the same for the guys. They looked really smart in their tweed but my god, they were hot!

After a visit with the guys I visited Danielle getting ready with her bridesmaids. The bride was looking very nervous but there was champagne on offer which I think helped calm the nerves a little. I love to capture the moment when dad sets eyes on his daughter in her dress. Always a beautiful and proud moment.

The wedding ceremony took place outside under the midday sun. Did i mention that it was really hot? Everyone managed with the help of fans and umbrellas. but when the couple signed the register the guests all dashed for shade! Makes a change from dashing for cover from rain showers though!

Holbrook Manor

Holbrook Manor is a beautiful venue with some lovely locations to capture couple portraits. While we did the portraits, the guests were seated for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were really funny, embarrassing and full of love. Precisely what this part of the day is all about.

For the rest of the afternoon the wedding party chilled out, caught up and had fun! It was great to photograph and be part of the day. A little later came the first dance, and then the party really started! This crowd really let their hair down; lots of great moves and craziness.
