Hestercombe Weddings

Hi – As a Somerset wedding photographer Hestercombe Gardens in Taunton Somerset is a one of my favourite locations. There is no doubt about that at all, it has everything. Set in beautiful tranquil landscape, Hestercombe Gardens is a wonder. It boasts fifty aches of beautiful landscaped and formal gardens; you will be spoilt for choice for where to go for photos.

The Orangery is a beautiful building with plenty of room for all your guests. The walk to the Orangery is also lovely. The brides route to the Orangery meander’s through colourful flower beds and past a water-fountain and down beautiful stone steps. When the bride descends the steps and walks across to the Orangery  the anticipation is palpable, it is such a beautiful moment to capture. As a wedding photographer it is always a pleasure to capture weddings at this venue. Hestercombe is one of my favourite wedding venues in Somerset and I just love to visit.  Every wedding is different of course but I can advise on some of the best places to go for photos.

Getting married at Hestercombe Wedding Venue

Walking to the waterfall is a favourite. The path meanders past the lake and through a dappled pathway to reach a view of cascading water falling down amongst the ferns as it makes its way down toward the lake. A truly beautiful spot. Although the waterfall is a breath-taking for a Hestercombe Gardens wedding photographer there are still some wonderful locations to discover. The formal symmetrical gardens offers many areas for wedding photography and the dappled light under the Pergola is perfect for those sunset evenings in the height of summer. To be honest you are spoilt for choice as there are so many lovely areas. 

Hestercombe Orangery Wedding

Bampfylde Hall at Hestercombe Gardens wedding venue caters for your guests and can provide some mouth watering food for your wedding breakfast.  The Hall also doubles up as the party room. Wedding Photography at Hestercombe Gardens

I love capturing weddings at Hestercombe Gardens and would love to photograph your wedding there.  My photography is all about the real moments throughout the day. As a documentary wedding photographer I look to capture those moments between you, your friends and family. Whilst you relax and enjoy your wedding day doing your thing, I will be moving around looking for those shots and doing my thing. 

I’m always on the look out for those big moments and the small moments. Although I can’t be everywhere I really do not want to miss a thing. The important thing for me is for you to look through your pictures after your wedding and just relive it.
