Grand Hotel Wedding in Torquay- Special Day Wedding Photos

It was great to meet up and be wedding photographer for Martin & Natasha’s wedding at the Grand Hotel in Torquay, Devon. We had some rain earlier on in the day but we were treated to a lovely afternoon. I had met up with Martin & Natasha on the beach in Woolacombe for a pre-shoot earlier in the year. The couple were both getting ready in the hotel and I started off meeting up with Natasha in the Agatha Christie Suite. Interesting fact; Agatha Christie was born in Torquay! Natasha, a big Disney fan, unwrapped a Beauty and the Beast picture from Martin. It had Natasha in tears! There was lots of excitement in the room as the girls got ready and it was a lot of fun. I popped down to the bar to meet up with a very chilled out Martin and his best-man and brother Chris. Both enjoying a pint. It was then a dash back up to Natasha to capture the finishing touches.

Natasha’s dad looked very proud walking her down the aisle to a very emotional Martin. It was a lovely ceremony and afterwards the guests relaxed in the bar with drinks before heading in for the wedding breakfast. After the speeches we went down to the beach. Loved the light! We got some really lovely shots. It was a funny moment to see Uncle Jim wade into the sea for a swim. He must be mad! In he went in just a pair of trunks. So back to the hotel we went but not before a beatlesque stroll over the crossing.

It was a great day with lots of laughs and a few tears. A very enjoyable day and a pleasure to capture. Enjoy the images!
