Wedding Photography Pre-Shoot in Taunton, Somerset – Jo & Matt
Meeting up with a couple before their wedding to go through plans and ideas is always worthwhile. It was no different with Jo & Matt who will be getting married at the lovely Hestercombe House in Taunton Somerset later in the year. Hestercombe House is a wonderful place to hold your wedding. The venue has extensive grounds with beautiful formal gardens and a fantastic orangery which is where the couples wedding ceremony will take place. It also has a lovely cafe. Thanks for the coffee!
After the venue visit we were off to local beauty spot Netherclay Woods just on the edge of Taunton. The skies were blue and the sun was beating down on us as we walked around the woodland. It was really nice to get to know the couple and watch them ease into having a wedding photographer point a camera in their direction. I sometimes hide in bushes or behind trees and jump out with the camera at the ready. Ha ha, that’s a joke but I do sometimes get in amongst the foliage. Jo & Matt soon relaxed into the shoot and started to enjoy it. It is usually at this point when the images start to flow and we capture some lovely moments. They were really natural in front of the camera which is always nice to see as it reflects well in the images.
Pre-wedding shoots are a great way to get use to having your photo taken and getting use to me, the photographer. The shoots are not for everyone but if it’s something that would benefit you please check out article: Pre wedding shoot
Really great to find the field full of maize on the edge of the woodland. So rather than me getting in amongst the foliage the couple got in amongst the maize, which was nice! Anyway enough of my chat please scroll down and enjoy the images.
I look forward to the wedding soon. I will let you know when it is live!
Talk soon.
