Really enjoyed being wedding photographer in Devon for Mike & Meghann’s special day at The Corn Barn near Cullompton, Devon.
I met up with Mike and Meghann a few weeks ago for a pre-wedding shoot at the canal basin in Tiverton, Devon. To view please follow link: Tiverton pre-wedding shoot. It was a lot of fun and an introduction to some fancy footwear.
The Corn Barn is a lovely venue set in the beautiful Devon countryside. Originally the barn was used for the storage and threshing of corn. An orchard sits just to the front of the property, and as it is Autumn the trees were in full fruit.
There was plenty of laughter and excitement as the ladies got ready. It was great to see and photograph all getting involved in the preparations. A little later I caught up with Mike, his two best-men and groomsmen.
The ceremony was extra special as it was conducted by Mike’s godmother and held in front of an impressive archway of paper flowers, designed and made by Meghann. The readings proved to be very emotional with laughter and some tears. A little later the wedding party chilled out in the grounds before heading in for the wedding breakfast. The speeches went really well. The two best-men gave some entertaining anecdotes and one of Meghann’s bridesmaids provided much hilarity.
After the cutting of the cake and the first dance the band started and the party really got going. It was a great day and a pleasure to capture. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.
Talk to you soon.
