Buckland Tout-Saints Devon Wedding – Natalie & James
Working as a Devon wedding photographer is such a privilege, I get to travel the whole of the county and visit some beautiful places. Natalie & James’s wedding celebrations took place at Buckland Tout-Saints a beautiful venue in Kingsbridge, Devon South Hams. The venue is in a secluded location, which made travelling there interesting, but well worth it. The ceremony took place at Stokenham Church, a Church I had visited some time ago so it was lovely to return.
I don’t think I have ever met a bride so relaxed and enjoying the preparations. It was lovely to see the bride playing with the kids and keeping them entertained throughout the morning. There were some lovely moments with plenty of emotion too. Getting to the church from the venue proved an interesting drive, thankfully I didn’t meet any tractors, although on the way back later on I had to drive into a field to let a lorry by! James was ready and waiting at the church in full uniform, the guys all looked really smart.

The ceremony was really beautiful. Natalie arrived in style in an Aston Martin and was walked down the aisle by her very proud looking father while a stringed quartet played in the background. As the ceremony came to the end Natalie’s mum joined the musicians on keyboard, which was a great surprise for Natalie & James. After the ceremony all the guests filed out, and there were a lot of them, ready for the Guard of Honour.
Back at Buckland-Tout-Saints the guests relaxed in the grounds of the property and were entertained by a silhouettist, that wasn’t easy to spell, and Dan Brazier the Magician. It was very entertaining and as always Dan gets the gasps! The day moved on very quickly and the speeches provided much entertainment to the delight of the guests, plenty of embarrassment and laughter. The couple used a military sword for the cutting of the cake and I’m glad I wasn’t too close when the sword was in Natalie’s hands!
After the first dance it was great to see the guests get up on the dance floor and throw a few moves to the disco and the live band. Top entertainment. Anyway checkout the images. They are very heavy on the black & white side but there are splashes of colour. Enjoy!
Thanks for making me feel so welcome and thank you for feeding me. Very much appreciated.
Cheers
Anthony
