Beaconside House Wedding – Carly & Rick

Beaconside House wedding venue is a beautiful and exclusive venue out near Bideford in North Devon. It is the first time I had visited the venue and I look forward to returning again soon.

If there was ever a couple who are just so perfect together. it is Carly & Rick!  I was so happy to finally see these guys married after the whole Covid thing put a halt to their original plans. They were originally with a different photographer but due to complications with the new date I was able to step in and save the day!

Beaconside House is a lovely wedding venue with a wonderful woodland with glamping cabins to stay in. The oak wedding barn is also an impressive space. There is also the option to hold your ceremony outside in the gazebo, which is exactly what Carly & Rick had opted for. The weather was absolutely perfect for this.

The outside ceremony was perfect! It really was a pleasure to capture. In those quiet moments of the ceremony, you could hear the sounds of the countryside that just added to the moment. After the ceremony and once the confetti had been thrown, we headed down into woodland for a few couple shots. A really fantastic space with lots of atmosphere.

The wedding breakfast took place within the Oak barn. An amazing space! The speeches were full of laughter, emotion and of course, a little embarrassment. I love to capture this part of the day.

Another part of the day that is really fun to capture is the dancing. After the first dance it was great to see the guests up on the dancefloor throwing their shapes and generally have a great time. Guys! You smashed it!

Thanks for making me feel so welcome. It was lovely to meet you both and your family and friends. I almost forgot the doggies! As a lover of dogs it was great to see the two little pups running around and enjoying the space.
