Anrán in Devon Wedding – Alice & Chris
Great to return to Anrán in Devon just before the New Year for Alice & Chris’s wedding. Anrán is such an impressive venue! The Glasshouse is an amazing space and I just love The Hut.
Both Alice & Chris were getting ready at the venue which makes it really easy to capture them both. Once Chris was ready he left for St Matthews Church, a five minute walk up the road. Meanwhile Alice was undergoing all the preparations in Anrán Manor. I love to photograph this part of the day, all as naturally as possible. Once Alice and the bridesmaids were ready they headed up to the church. The ceremony was beautiful and it was great to see the newly weds exit under a guard of honour and confetti shower. I love to capture the confetti as it’s just pure fun.
Wedding celebrations at Anrán
After the ceremony all the guests headed back to Anrán for drinks and canapes in The Hut. Before we headed back to join them we captured a few couple shots on the walk back. It was a little damp but still lovely. The wedding breakfast was held in the Glasshouse which had been amazingly decorated with beautiful flower arrangements. The speeches were really funny with lots of laughter and embarrassment.

A little later after the wedding breakfast the couple exited under a tunnel of sparklers and headed to the The Hut to begin the dancing. This is a particular favourite part of the day to capture and this crowd did not disappoint. When the amazing band, Over the Threshold, got going the dancing began not forgetting all the drinking. It was a lot of fun.
