It was great to finally be able to do Suzanne & Rob’s pre-wedding photography shoot in Cornwall. This was our second attempt! We had arranged to undertake the shoot on the same day as the venue viewing in Padstow but the weather was not great, in fact it was pretty awful. As we had a little time on our hands we decided to reschedule in the hope of a better day. We could not have asked for a more glorious day, the skies were blue with not a cloud in sight. It was wall to wall sunshine and very warm! We arranged to meet up at the lovely Summerleaze Beach in Bude, Cornwall. When we arrived the beach was already starting to fill up with sun seekers, surfers and families, the couple were even photobombed a few times as we headed into the dunes!
Suzanne and Rob soon relaxed and started to enjoy the shoot. It was also great getting to know the couple as we made our way round the colourful beach huts and across to the distinctive Bude harbour. It was interesting to see the harbour being used by fisherman mending their nets. They did not seem at all fazed when I pointed the camera in their direction. All in all a lovely morning in a wonderful setting. A beach I will definitely be returning to when I get the chance.
I am really looking forward to the couples wedding in Padstow at the end of April. Fingers crossed for more marvelous weather!
