Had a great time photographing Rachel & Ben’s wedding at the lovely Kitley House Hotel, near Plymouth, Devon. Their wedding was held at the end of November and we were treated to wonderful blue skies and some warm sunshine when the cold wind dropped later.
I started the day with some getting ready shots with Rachel and her bridal party. Rachel had kept her dress as a surprise for her bridesmaids and it was a lovely moment when she appeared ready in her dress. I also caught up with Ben and his groomsmen getting ready. There was a lot of nervous excitement. The ceremony was lovely and charged with plenty of emotion. Later on and after a few group-shots we walked the grounds and captured some couple moments in the warm winter sunshine.
The speeches were held after the wedding breakfast and started with a very nervous father of the bride. He soon relaxed and got into his stride. The mother of the bride also gave a speech with the majority told through the Mary Poppins song Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. It was hilarious! The Best-mans speech also got plenty of laughs.
The rest of the day went really well and I had a great time photographing the special day. It was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon.
