It was great to leave the county and be a Cornwall wedding photographer for a change at the lovely wedding of Suzanne & Rob. We had met up in Bude earlier in the year for a pre-wedding shoot on the beach. It was a hot sunny day so we were hoping for similar for the wedding.
The couples wedding was to take place at St Kew Church with the reception at the Metropole Hotel in Padstow. We started the day at Suzanne’s parents home where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. There was plenty of nervous excitement in the air, as well as mischief from their daughter Poppy. It was soon time to jump in the car and head down to the waiting groom at St Kew Church. Rob was looking a little nervous as he waiting in anticipation. Rob, his best-man and the male side of his family all wore kilts in honour of Rob’s grandfather. There wasn’t a Scottish accent to be heard but there was a bonnie lass just to be walked down the aisle. It was really nice to see Suzanne’s father walking her very proudly down the aisle. It’s always a nice moment! After the ceremony the congregation headed off to the venue in Padstow while we met up in the town for some relaxed couple shots. It was a little windy but that did not spoil the enjoyment. Rob was very moved by the whole occasion especially during the speeches and first dance. It was really enjoyable to capture their day! You never know whats going to happen! Every wedding is so completely different. Which is great as it keeps me on my toes.
I hope you enjoy the images
Talk to you soon.
